This interview features Nguyễn Viết Hải, founder of VF Caput, who brings over 12 years of experience in the forex and financial industry, with 8 years dedicated to researching and applying Expert Advisors (EAs). Throughout his career, he has managed over $3 million in funds for domestic and international investors, achieving remarkable results. Nguyễn Viết Hảis core objective is to develop a technology-driven trading methodology aimed at providing investors with a stable and secure investment experience.
Q1: In your opinion, what abilities and qualities are essential to become an outstanding IB?
A: An exceptional Introducing Broker (IB) must possess a solid foundation in financial knowledge, coupled with outstanding consultation and customer service skills. Key qualities also include a long-term business vision, unquestionable transparency and credibility, and the ability to build a strong community. Most importantly, an outstanding IB must always prioritize the client‘s best interests, maintaining a loyal partnership throughout the client’s entire trading journey.
Q2: What do you think is the most prominent “trading safety” risk in todays global forex market? From an industry perspective, how can we build a safer and more reliable trading environment to enhance investor trust?
A: Currently, there is a pressing need for transparency among traders, especially as many face situations where brokers refuse to pay out profits, even after achieving substantial gains. Therefore, it is evident that an organization is needed to step forward, offering protection and support to individual traders and Introducing Brokers (IBs) in the market.
Q3: With the industrys rapid development, technology has undoubtedly enhanced trading efficiency—but do you believe it also introduces new risks? In this new era, how can we make trading safer?
A: EAs are undoubtedly a highly effective tool for helping traders profit. However, they also carry inherent risks, which can increase significantly during periods of extreme market volatility when price movements deviate substantially from the algorithms they are designed on. This can pose a considerable threat to investors. We can mitigate these risks by gaining a deep understanding of the underlying algorithms and meticulously verifying the credibility and reputation of the EA provider. Furthermore, integrating EA activation/deactivation switch tools could contribute to safer and more optimized trading.
Q4: As a member of the Elite Committee, what kind of responsibilities do you expect to take on in the future?
A: As a member of the Elite Committee, my goal is to share knowledge and provide advanced training for both traders and Introducing Brokers (IBs), enabling everyone to master excellent trading tools and methodologies. I am eager to collaborate with WikiFX to jointly identify and promote reliable brokers in the Vietnamese market and contribute to the development of more sophisticated trading tools.
