From what I’ve checked, ICE Markets is not currently regulated. The FCA regulation they once had has expired, and the LFSA status is unverified. For me, that’s a serious red flag because regulation is one of my first checkpoints before depositing funds. Even though they have a wide product range and use MT4, I always remind myself that trading with an unregulated broker carries higher risks—especially in YMYL areas like forex and crypto trading.
Yes—this is something I looked into carefully. For STP Real Accounts, major FX pairs have a 0.0025% commission one-way, while cryptocurrencies are 0.05%. Managed accounts have slightly higher FX commissions at 0.004%. Spreads on forex start from 0.0 pips, but crypto spreads can be higher. They also apply triple swaps for positions held from Wednesday to Thursday, which I have to keep in mind if I’m holding overnight trades.
They offer 44 forex pairs, 45 cryptocurrencies, 3 spot metals, and 2 CFD commodities. I like being able to switch between asset classes, especially during volatile periods when one market might be quiet and another is trending.
On forex, I can get up to 1:300 for deposits under $3,000. Exotic pairs are capped at 1:200. High-net-worth clients face a much lower cap of 1:50, and crypto is limited to 1:10. Precious metals go up to 1:150. These limits impact how I size my positions.
