Inspection Reason

Some investors made phone call for more disclosure of Japan licensed brokers whose real address were not the same with its regulation address. In response to investors’ strong need, the surveyor went to MCP ASSET to know more about its interior.

Office

According to the regulation information, the Japanese licensed broker was located at 1-8-1, Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. The surveyor visited the broker.

According to the regulation information and the online map, the surveyor found an office building in a railway station.

The office building in the railway station was just the surveyor’s destination.

The surveyor then walked into the building.

The surveyor failed to find the broker’s name after reading the floor directory at the first floor carefully. The surveyor learnt that the broker didn’t have an office in the building after inquiring the safe guard in the lobby.

Conclusion

The visit by surveyors confirmed that the broker’s real address was not the same with its regulation address. The broker had a retail forex license issued by FSA but its suspicion of being a clone broker could not be ruled out.
